As per the guidelines laid down by ICMR, we run an anonymous egg donation programme, wherein neither the egg donor nor the recipient ever see each other in person or see each other’s photos, but rest assured that we will select a healthy, fertile egg donor for you
All our egg donors are between ages 20 to 30 years and have qualified to become egg donors after going through stringent selection process already described in detail on this site.
Generally almost all of our egg donors have passed 10th standard exam at least. Some of them are graduates too. They usually come from low middle class to middle class strata of society, and have clean living conditions, which are already verified by our care taker and care taker periodically visits their houses to verify these conditions.
All our donors undergo very elaborate testing already given in very details on this website.
No. A donor contractually assigned to you is ovulated for exclusively you and if there are extra embryos are frozen for your subsequent use,as will be decided between us.
Normally 48 to 72 hours after IVF/ICSI/IMSI and do blastcyst transfer also if the client is particular about it and if we get more embryos, but it is best to leave this aspect of decision to us to adjudge the best in the given conditions.
Normally we have ready egg donors and one doesnot have to wait long before we get you a suitable egg donor. However, if you have any specific requirement regarding donor’s appearance or higher educational status, ethnicity etc. then it may take a little time.
Embryo freezing comes as a part of the egg donation package but semen freezing is charged @ $ 100 per freezing.
In the egg donation process only the egg belongs to the donor while it is your husband’s sperm that is used for embryo formation, whereas in embryo adoption both the egg and the sperm belong to donors. Egg donation is more expensive than embryo adoption. However, both the egg donation and embryo adoption are effective treatment options for women with poor ovarian reserve.
According to ICMR guidelines, commercial egg donation is perfectly legal in India, however, it has to be anonymous and confidential. The egg donor signs a contract with and gives consent to the clinic, forsaking her rights over the donated eggs.
